Malangpariwara.com – Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITN) Malang kembali menggelar prosesi wisuda. Bertempat di Ballroom Hotel Grand Mercure, wisuda ke-71 ini diikuti 303 wisudawan, Sabtu (20/4/2024).
Dari jumlah wisudawan tersebut, sebanyak 86 wisudawan (28,4%) berhasil lulus dengan predikat Cum Laude atau dengan pujian.
Kepala Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Wilayah VII Jawa Timur, Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, S.E., M.M. menyampaikan, LLDIKTI selalu mensuport ITN untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang betul-betul mampu mewujudkan perubahan untuk Indonesia.
“Harapannya wisudawan mampu mencetak kerja, bukan mencari kerja. Wisudawan langsung mempunyai multi player efek untuk kehidupan masyarakat bangsa dan negara,” ujarnya.
Selamat juga untuk ITN Malang yang telah mempunyai prodi S3. Kebanggaan kita bersama pendidikan khususnya wilayah 7 Jatim untuk selalu memberikan value.
“Sehingga harapannya ITN Malang bisa unggul di tahun 2025,” tuturnya.
Selain itu lanjut Prof Dyah, Perguruan Tinggi harus mengimplementasikan 5 anti yang menjadi kebijakan. Yakni anti korupsi, anti intoleransi, anti bullying, anti narkoba dan anti kekerasan seksual.
“Karena sekarang lagi marak-maraknya, sehingga jangan sampai terjadi di ITN. Dengan sosialisasi ini diharapkan bisa dipahami seluruh sivitas akademika ITN agar jangan sampai terjadi di ITN, ” pungkasnya.
Sementara itu, Rektor ITN Malang, Awan Uji Krismanto, ST., MT., PhD menyampaikan, ITN Malang merupakan kampus teknologi yang secara konsisten mencetak sumber daya manusia (SDM). Yang berkualitas serta berkomitmen dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi.
Dimana upaya peningkatan kualitas SDM, dalam hal ini para mahasiswa, dilakukan melalui proses pembelajaran yang menyeluruh. Meliputi bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta pembentukan karakter (character building).
“Karena itu lulusan ITN Malang harus menjadi trendsetter, bukan trend follower yang memiliki kompetensi dalam persaingan di dunia kerja. Serta mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan sesuai dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saat ini,” ujarnya.
Menurut Awan, kehadiran internet, smart phones, dan artificial intelligence telah mendorong munculnya berbagai plaftorm digital. Yang semakin memudahkan konektivitas dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan.
Untuk itu, ITN Malang terus mengembangkan inovasi di bidang penelitian dan teknologi melalui Pusat Penelitian dan Inovasi (Research and Innovation Centre). Beberapa pusat-pusat kajian unggulan (center of excellences) terus dikembangkan untuk memfasilitasi aktivitas dosen dan mahasiswa di bidang research, project maupun partnership dengan dunia industri:
- Renewable Energy, Smart Grid, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things
- Manufacture, Energy Conversion, Material Forensic and Compositions
- Big Data, Software and Application developments
- Building Infromation Management System(BIM)
- Photogrammetry and Mapping
- Public Policy in Planning and Development
- Trading, Criptocurrency and Business Simulation
- Start Up Development
“Sebab itu para dosen dituntut terus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan memperkaya bahan ajar. Agar relevan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi terkini,” ucapnya.
“Mahasiswa juga dilatih terlibat dalam kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Sehingga nantinya terbiasa dengan lingkungan dan tuntutan kerja serta siap beradaptasi dan berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan bangsa dan negara,” tandasnya.
Lebih lanjut Awan menyampaikan selamat dan sukses atas semua prestasi yang telah wisudawan peroleh selama belajar di ITN. Keberhasilan yang dirayakan pada hari ini merupakan awal dari perjalanan panjang hidup kedepan.
Karena masih sangat banyak tantangan dan rintangan yang harus dihadapi. Janganlah berhenti untuk terus berjuang dan belajar sepanjang hayat.
“Pada upacara Wisuda yang ke-71 saat ini, para wisudawan akan mengucapkan Janji Wisudawan kepada Negara, Almamater ITN Malang, masyarakat dan terutama kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Dengan demikian, ada suatu tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepada Saudara untuk dapat berkarya, membangun bangsa dan negara Republik Indonesia tercinta ini,” pungkasnya.
Sebanyak 86 wisudawan (28,4%) pada wisuda ke 71 Program Sarjana S-1, dan Magister S-2, ITN Malang berhasil lulus dengan predikat Cum Laude atau Dengan Pujian. Untuk 4 Wisudawan terbaik dengan Raihan IPK lebih dari 3 diantaranya:
